Knowledge Discovery delivers to users continuous, contextualized, and personalized content recommendations as users navigate SharePoint knowledge bases. This user-tunable function delivers just the right information at the right time—even when a user would otherwise not know that they need the information, or even that it exists.

It's an incredibly simple thing that sits as a webpart on your SharePoint 2010 site.  We've learned that simple makes for easy adoption so users don't need to do a thing if they don't want to. But Synxi sits in the background, learning from what they do, and providing recommendations as they browse SharePoint libraries. And the more it's used, the better Synxi gets.

Synxi Expertise Discovery is a patented web part that delivers continuous, contextualized, and personalized recommendations of other users with relevant expertise. Best of all, this function automatically infers levels of expertise—it does not require explicit expertise profiles to effectively operate.
